Personality and Background:
Commander of the New Guinea base and its defensive forces, the 44th Mobile Battalion. Xinyun is a former factory supervisor who found herself in command of the Titans base. While somewhat out of her element in terms of tactical ability, she has proven an apt manager, and kept the factory churning out Barzams ever since aligning with the HRA in February of 2013.

A staunch idealist, she is a firm believer in the works of Karl Marx, and her uncompromising attitude towards the men under her command. She is a stern commander, and routinely asks the almost impossible of her personnel, both due to her lack of knowledge as much as unflinchingly high personal expectations. However, she will begrudgingly take advice either once her plans have failed or if someone presents and explains a viable alternative in her terms.

Personality and Background:
Born in England, Baker’s working class family found itself on hard times during 2011. Both of his parents lost their jobs within one month of each other. Over a year later, both had still been unsuccessful at finding long term employment when Patrick came into possession of the Shirogane, first ship of the Space Noah class from Super Robot Wars. At the time, Patrick’s mother had been recently diagnosed with liver cancer. When the medical establishment was unable to save her, Baker (14 at the time) used the Shirogane and her PTs to strike out at the groups he saw responsible. Hounded by units loyal to the English government and later the UN, Patrick joined up with the HRA because they opposed the state he now abhors.

Like many 15 year olds, Patrick is an interesting combination of bullheadedness and uncertainty. Placed in command of the 81st Mobile Battalion, he is a bit of a fish out of water. Having no experience with actual combat, his tactics still resemble the charge heavy options the many video games he played favored. In front of his men, Baker is headstrong and arrogant. Behind the scenes however, he relies heavily on his executive officer and bridge staff for advice prior to a battle. He will never admit to being wrong even if he knows he is, and is quick to anger at people who suggest that they know his situation or that he is wrong.
