After watching the GM II go down Walter turned his attention back to his opponent. The Hizack brought out its machinegun and moved closer then opened fire. Giving a sad sigh he pressed the release button to shed the outer layers of his suits armor and then proceeded to attempt to dodge the projectiles.


EN: 148/200

Agi: 100

MEPE (4): Spend one charge (max 4) + 4 EN to dodge an attack (one dice roll). Charges can be regained by dodging attacks without using MEPE, at a max rate of 1 per turn.

Walter was able to dodge two of the flurries of bullets but the last one hit home. The bullets slammed into his suit, one of the bullets took off one of the points on his head. The arms and legs also took hits as paint and armor flew off.

Walter sighed, "That could have gone better."

Viper two stared incredulously at the small Gundam type MS they were engaging. For just a moment, it has seemed to be in two places at once, moving among the bullets. He was beginning to think that the bullets were actually travelling through the petite Mobile Suit, only to break into a smile as the final portion of the salvo contacted metal. While rifle bullets were only so useful against Lunar Titanium, it helped to know that the machine could indeed be damaged.

“Three, this is two. I’ll back you up with the little one. Let’s see how he handles being attacked from two directions.”

Sidestepping to its left, where it could use the Hizack for cover if need be, the GM II paused for a moment before leaping into the air. Aiming downwards at the F91, its pilot hefted his Hyper Bazooka and fired, hoping to use the elevation advantage to catch the UN pilot off guard.

Walter watched as the remaining GM II bring out its bazooka and fire at it. He shook his head and did the same thing as before. With the armor breaking off he shot to the left and once again evaded damage.

At the rear of the outpost, a single Gaplant sat on one of the pads in Mobile Armor mode. Several technicians were hurriedly swarming over it, removing fuel hoses and clamps. Finally, the chief tech hammered on the lowered head near the center of the machine.

“Good to go Lt. Give ‘em hell for us!”

Lieutenant Saito gave a brief salute in return before taking off. Circling the battlefield, he found Viper five engaging a pair of enemy Mobile Suits alone. Turning into the fray, he commed the lone pilot.

“Good to see you’re still in the fight five. Hang on just a moment longer; I’ll bring the rain for you.”

Descending on an attack run towards the same Gundam wannabe that the Hizack had already engaged, Saito opened fire with his dual mega particle cannons.

Still looking at the defeated GM II he downed. Matt hovered the Exbein in the air to search for other enemies. Suddenly his incoming alarm went off again and out of the corner of his eye, he saw two beams heading his way. The first one he easily avoided but the second beam came straight at him. With no time to move the Exbein out of the way, Matt only had one option. "Exbein, G.T Release!!! Immediately, a light wave shield enveloped around the Exbein and the Beam dissipated, leaving the Exbein undamaged. "What the hell was that?!" Matt zoomed in on the enemy that fired on him. "That..is a mobile Armor....Grrr". He immediately switches to Exbein's Graviton Rifle. Target locked in....Exbein, FIRE!!!. He pulls the trigger and fires the Graviton rifle once again at the Enemy Mobile Armor(F-Cool.

Saito only chuckled as the Exbein fired its Graviton Rifle. The beam went sailing through a point where the Gaplant had been a few seconds earlier, missing the MS completely.

“Gotta be faster than that if you want to hit me, mate.”

Executing an Immelman turn, Saito returned to a covering position over the ground bound Hizack of Viper five.

“Ok five, pay attention. Here’s where the fun begins."

As he watched the others take battle, Walter couldn't help but sigh. The Hizack he was currently engaging was good, but not at his level. Returning his VSBR to the storage rack, he grabbed his Beam Launcher and leveled it at the opposing suit. "I know that these guys are supposed to be Titans and all, but they sucked even in the T.V. show. I mean, come on, about the only good ones were Scirocco and Yazan Gable. And I really hope that Yazan isn't here because then we would have a massacre on our hands."

Across the field he saw the Exbein cancel out an attack from the Gaplant Mobile Armor and couldn't help but smirk. "Seems I've underestimated them. Wonder if they'll be able to keep it up."

Turning back to his opponent, he looked down the barrel and, when he was confidant enough, he squeezed the trigger.

Viper two was again forced to raise his shield as a burst from the F91’s Beam Launcher bared down on him. The Hizack was spared any major damage, although this time the cost of his salvation was the entirety of the shield. Throwing away the charred remains of his defense, Viper two dove behind a nearby building for cover, calling out to his ally as he did so.

"Three, that little one is causing me too much trouble. Any word on the rest of the squadron?"

He recieved an equally terse reply.

"Almost here two, still have to arm the machines that weren't on ready five. Just hold out a little longer."

"Here I come!" The second the Hizack stopped firing, Stan made his move. He quickly pulled his shield out of the ground and charged at him recklessly with his Beam Saber out. "EAT THIS!!! RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!!!" He came in fast and made a swing at the enemy mobile suit.

Viper five saw the Blue Destiny draw its beam saber and begin charging directly at him. With only a second to decide his actions, the pilot concluded that he would give as good as he got.

“Think I’ll cower behind my shield for you feddie? Not a chance, I’m a Titan!”

Instead of drawing into a defensive posture, the Hizack swung its left arm and shield outwards towards the saber. At the cost of both its left hand and the lower portion of the shield, Viper five batted the attack away from any critical locations. At the same time the suit brought its right arm up, putting its machinegun within a few meters of Blue Destiny’s torso. Smiling, the pilot gripped his trigger tightly, sending another full burst at the Gundam.

Blue got a cut on the Hizack's left hand which left him wide open to attack, with his rifle aimed right at the the cockpit. "Shit!" He was just barely able to block his fire from causing critical injuries with his shield, causing him to fall on his back. Blue had some holes left in his body and left Stan feeling shaken. "D...Dammit."

After his failed attack towards the mobile armor, Matt maintained constant surveillance on the M.A. Out of the corner of his cockpit screen, he sees the Blue Destiny unit engaging a Titan Hizack. "Seems like The Blue Destiny is holding up well". All the sudden, both the destiny and the Hizack went past each other in attack. The destiny managed to slice the hand off the Hizack, but it used its rifle in close range and hit the destiny. Seeing the Destiny take damage and fall to the ground, "What the-?! The Destiny!. Looking at the Hizack (F- 9) that was above the Blue Destiny, "I won't let you get another hit like that on him again Titan!!". Matt brings up the Exbein's photon rifle and readies it. "TAKE THIS HIZACK!!!!!". He locked on and fired the Photon Rifle.

Viper five winced as the Gundam wannabe fired its rifle in the middle of his attack on the Blue Destiny. Thankfully, the beam flew over his MS’ head as it moved into firing position.

“Damn you! How dare you underestimate the Titans like that!”

The pilot raised his machinegun to fire, only to hear an ominous clicking sound. The clip in the rifle was out of ammo. Cursing, he took the most immediate action he could. Pressing his weapon select toggle, the Viper brought up a new targeting reticule. Three diamonds quickly resolved themselves on the monitor over the Exbein, followed by a constant tone.

“This should buy me some time. Good luck dodging these at such close range.”

A trio of missiles leapt from their hardpoints on the Hizack’s waist, followed by the pilot hurriedly using the distraction to affix the spare magazine for his rifle.

"Damn, not another miss" Exclaimed Matt as he completed his failed attack on the Hizack. Suddenly he sees something launch from the Hizack. "Grrr.....A missile attack!!". 3 missiles were en rout towards the Exbein. "Don't fail me now Exbein". Matt quickly dodged 2 of the 3 missiles, but his last maneuver placed him right in front of the last missile. "Dammit!!". Matt decided to shoot the missile down with Exbein's Gatling gun. "Please let this work" and soon he pulled the trigger.
